Entrepreneurship Training for Floating Sex Workers

SFCP provided program support to SHOILEE for costume jewelry training for floating sex workers in Dhaka, in partnership through a local NGO Give Bangladesh. Participants received hands-on training in jewelry design, beadwork, assembly, and quality control, alongside financial literacy and confidence-building sessions. The safe, non-judgmental environment helped participants envision alternative livelihoods, with several expressing interest in forming small cooperatives. This initiative demonstrates how inclusive entrepreneurship can foster economic independence, social equity, and dignity for marginalized communities.
