Community Health in Action: Free Tuberculosis Screening Camp in Rayer Bazar

On December 8, 2025, the Society, in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis Agency, organized a free tuberculosis screening camp in the Rayer Bazar area. This initiative formed an integral part of the Society’s ongoing community outreach and public health awareness program. The camp successfully screened approximately 100 residents from Ward Number 32 of Dhaka North City Corporation. The event was conducted with active support from the local ward council and its staff, whose cooperation was instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the camp. Community members participated with notable enthusiasm, reflecting a strong sense of awareness and engagement regarding their health and well-being. This screening camp represented one of several similar health initiatives implemented by the Society across the city, aimed at promoting preventive health care, early disease detection, and improved access to essential health services for urban communities.
