To spotlight innovative entrepreneurship, SFCP launched its Entrepreneurship Talk series with an event on face-recognition technology in livestock insurance, held September 1, 2022 at ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) in partnership with its Entrepreneurship Development Research Centre.
Featured speaker Fida Haq, co-founder and CEO of Adorsho Pranisheba Ltd., described his company’s pioneering use of facial recognition to insure livestock in Bangladesh — a first for the local market. The session drew academics, policymakers, bankers, and ZUMS faculty and students, with Mr. ATM Mostafa Kamal, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, attending as Chief Guest.
